Sincerely, Formerly, Me
A downloadable game
Overview:
You are a vampire writing letters to yourself.
That’s the gist of the game.
You will need:
- One player (it is a solo larp after all)
- As much or as little time that you would like to dedicate to it
Safety:
Note: because of the nature of a solo written larp, I have chosen not to list any explicit content warnings.
This solo larp, primarily focuses on self-reflectional as time goes on. Topics such as embracing & rejecting technology, the passage of time on relationships, death, and other human topics might come up as you play.
Please, keep your own personal safety in mind. Since this is not timed, nor played with others, feel free to walk away - to ground and center yourself, take a break, get snacks, or even to pace yourself to write these. Skip prompts. And of course, never be afraid to walk away from a game if it’s not for you. You, as a person, are more important than a game.
Additional information:
This game can be played in a myriad of ways. Be as simple, as in writing on simple pieces of paper or in a simple word doc, or as extra, as in sculpting your writing into soapstone or leaving a blog on your myspace, do as you like. You do what you, as a player want, with your character’s aesthetic in mind as a secondary factor.
This game is in playtesting as this is being published. Small updates might come out as feedback rolls in. Please feel free to leave a review! Or questions! Created for the 2021 #BIPOCVampJam
